Rotary Wear-resistance Valve is also known as Swing Rotary Disc Valve.
Motion of the plates are driven by the pivot axis, so that turning opening closing operation into rotational motion. As a result pneumatic actuator’s piston rod is directly contact with the media, extending the life of the actuator, especially when the media is corrosive.
Similar to LJ double-disc Valve it also seal with sealed with ceramic, tungsten steel, with excellent mechanical wear-resistant properties hardness up to 60 ~ 90HRC. Such design solves the short life time issue due to sealing surface abrasion erosion by continuous scouring material mixed with compressed air.
2、Principle of Operation
Pneumatic actuator drives plates via pivot axis swing arm. Spring is added between the disc seat to ensure they always touch tightly, meanwhile enable discs to move gently. Such design could compensate for thermal expansion contraction of the valve parts, can overcome any influence of fluctuating back pressure on the seal prevent particulate medium entering sealing surfaces. Similar to Double-Disc Gate Value, in the process of opening closing, valve plates could self-rotate, as a result sealing surfaces could be grinded, polished. Additionally, eddy current would be produced due to inlet/outlet channel is off centering to valve body, which would clean the valve cavity automatically. All these characteristics contributes the superior long life time of valve, providing a reliable guarantee for your system.
